Tenzing Vest

  • A crochet pattern by Elizabeth Sullivan

This hooded vest is named for Tenzing Norgay, an avid and relentless explorer and one of the first people to reach the top of Mount Everest. The vest is worked in one piece with minimal seaming at the shoulders and top of hood. The ribbed detail uses post stitches to create strong vertical lines that continue around the hood. The pattern includes five sizes (from 0-24 months) and buttonhole instructions for both boy’s and girl’s versions.

This pattern is also available as part of the Discoveries Collection.
