Les brebis de beaurivage East Friesian - Fingering Weight (limited edition)

2 articles en stock

We have a limited amount of extra East Friesian skeins from our May box for the Beyond Merino Yarn Club. which we're now making available to everyone.

This month’s East Friesian yarn from Les Brebis du Beaurivage is a single-ply, in a light fingering weight. The yarn has a slight halo, and despite its fineness, it creates a very appealing fabric when worked at a fairly loose gauge (on 3.25mm needles), allowing it plenty of space to bloom.

This yarn is very “lively” because it’s a single ply with a relatively high twist. If you’re working from a centre-pull ball or cake and find that the yarn is kinking too much, try working from the other end of the ball as that can help to avoid adding extra twist as you’re working.

Notes

"Daybreak" was this month's bright colour option, "Aurora" was the jewel option, "Galaxy" was the dark option, and "Atmosphere" was the neutral option.

As we've mentioned, the weight of the skeins is quite variable. All skeins are at least 110g (4oz), with some weighing up to 130g. Please keep this in mind when planning your projects.
