This was a limited edition kit and pre-orders are now closed! All purchased hat kits will be shipped by early May. You can still buy full skeins of Presto to make your hat. 2 full skeins will make two hats if you reverse the colours.
In celebration of the 50th anniversary of La Lainerie Lépine, a local yarn store here in Montreal, we created two new colours of our Presto bulky-weight yarn, and teamed up with Jean-Philippe Cliche (of Atelier Clichē), who used them to create a fabulous pattern: the Spice Hat. Please note that the pattern is not included in these kits, and must be purchased separately. You can buy your copy on Ravelry here.
We've created kits for this pattern in both the original colour combination (Shoreline + Kombu) and a few other classic and colourful options. These limited-edition kits contain enough of both the main colour and contrast colour to knit your very own Spice Hat.
